The fastest route to reach the island
The route from David to Isla Colón is one of the fastest and most economical ways to reach this paradise of Bocas Del Toro, ideal for backpackers as well as tourists or executives making round trips to the island or short stays.
This route is operated in collaboration with Servidchanda company. The first leg, from David to the Rambala crossing, is covered by coaster buses of the David-Changuinola route. At the Rambala fuel station, where the bus drops you off, a taxi will be waiting to take you to our departure port in Chiriquí Grande. There, our team will welcome you and guide you to the boat that will take you to your main destination. Additionally, on this maritime route, we also make a stop in the beautiful town of Loma Partida.

This route begins upon arrival at the ticket counter of Buses David-Changuinola at the David bus terminal at least 25 minutes before the selected departure time. You can purchase your travel ticket right there, provided there is availability for that schedule. We recommend making a prior reservation through our website. In case you arrive and there are no available seats, you can purchase for the next frequency.
The total time of the route, from departing David until reaching Isla Colón, is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, ensuring a quick and safe journey. Additionally, we offer five departure and return schedules from the island to David.
